READING

Algebra of Happiness by Scott Galloway. I’m on a Prof G. kick lately…he’s a professor of marketing at the NYU Stern School of Business and host of the Prof G (Pivot too) podcast. This book explores the formula for a fulfilling life, blending personal anecdotes with practical insights to uncover the keys to happiness and success. Looking forward to his new one The Algebra of Wealth.

LISTENING

Grey Days. Chelsea Wolfe. This is on repeat in the studio presently: dark, atmospheric…a mix of folk, gothic rock, and electronic music + haunting vocals. I don’t think there’s a better soundtrack for March in Maine.

Early Retirement? (Two Sides of FI video) My wife gave notice to her employer of 23 years last week. This represents a seismic shift for us. She’ll be helping me run 30X40 in January of 2025.

LEARNING

EDC - I’ve been prepping my Jeep for a very full summer travel schedule. New Yeti LoadOut + GoBoxes, a new storage rack, lots of small improvements. Can you tell I’m ready to get out of Maine for a bit?

Modern Craftsman Podcast. Nick Schiffer + Tyler Grace invited me on the MC pod to chat about passive income, design and business.
